Belmont Park is a historic oceanfront amusement park located on Mission Beach. When the park first opened in 1925, the big draw was the large wooden roller coaster called the Giant Dipper. That coaster still stands today (although partially refurbished) and can be seen from miles away. What I like about this park, is that you can go to the beach and catch a few rides or play a couple of arcade games without having to purchase an entry ticket.
